I have 20 years’ experience as a expert vascular and general surgeon with a busy practise. I trained in Nottingham, Cardiff, London and Australia.
I see patients with varicose veins, swollen legs, Cold feet, Raynauds, DVT, superficial thrombophlebitis, leg ulcers, peripheral artery disease (PAD), intermittent claudication, aneurysms, atherosclerosis, AV malformations and hernias (inguinal and umbilical). I see lumps and bumps also.
Varicose vein treatments include Radiofrequency, Laser, Foam injection as well as traditional stripping. Operations can be performed with local or general anaesthetic.
I am married to a local GP with 3 grown up children. My interests outside work include sport, music, gardening and DIY projects.
I lead the regional vascular service for patients with kidney failure requiring surgery, especially how it relates to dialysis.
