Here are just some of the ways that we can support your practice

  • Provide Continued Professional Development with our virtual or face-to-face Consultant led educational talks.
  • Facilitate training sessions at our hospital.
  • Deliver simple and seamless patient care.
  • Offer many same-day appointments.
  • Serve as a hub where patients can access outpatient and secondary care services

We are a leading private healthcare facility in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, that offers an extensive range of services for patients; for both adults and children who wish to access private treatment within the local and regional healthcare community. Our services are designed to complement existing care pathways and act as a ‘hub’ where patients can access outpatient and secondary care services. In 2020, we launched our Ambulatory Surgical Unit, offering day-case procedures. This enables patients to receive much of their care in a location, and at a time, comfortable and convenient to them.

Practising Privileges

OSD Healthcare takes pride in attracting top-tier practitioners across Outpatient, Inpatient, Dental, and Diagnostic services. We support several NHS pathways, working collaboratively with our partners across Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire to provide seamless patient care.

We have a robust application process to ensure that all practitioners meet our standards and require evidence of:

  • Qualifications
  • Scope of practice
  • Training
  • Insurances
  • GMC registration
  • Vaccination status
  • Appraisal records
  • Assurances of clear criminal and professional records.

Applications are then reviewed and recommended by the Medical Advisory Committee (MAC).

If you’re interested in gaining Practising Privileges, please contact our team at Practising.Privileges@OSDhealthcare.co.uk.

Please note: To apply for Practising Privileges, practitioners must currently hold or have recently held a substantive NHS Trust consultant post for a minimum of one year.

OSD Healthcare are committed to working in partnership with you to deliver the highest standards of clinical care and to develop and promote your private practice here at OSD Healthcare. We look forward to receiving your application.
