Mr Hamish Hamilton

Mr Hamilton is an an experienced General and Vascular Surgeon, and has been a Consultant in the NHS since 1999 till 2025. He retired from NHS practice at 65 years old last year, but has continued his private practice which began in 1999 in the UK.

Mr Hamilton’s general surgical training was in Philadelphia, USA in 1986-91 in a general surgical residency program and he was American Board certified for many years. He has also worked in Cape Town, South Africa as a Consultant, and since 1997 has been in the UK. Mr Hamilton has sub-specialised in Vascular Surgery since 1999.

Mr Hamilton treats general surgical abdominal conditions and perform laparoscopic hernia and gallbladder surgery. He offers endovascular treatment for varicose veins, and consults on most vascular arterial and venous disorders. Mr Hamilton performs minor day case operations including skin lesions and soft tissue lumps.
