Accreditations
Independent accreditations play an important role in healthcare, offering assurance that a hospital’s services are measured against recognised national standards. These benchmarks are set by professional bodies and regulatory organisations that review everything from clinical quality to patient safety and service delivery.
Being accredited shows that our hospital meets these external expectations and continues to evolve in line with best practice. It gives patients confidence that the care they receive is regularly assessed, professionally verified, and continuously strengthened.
ANTT Bronze
ANTT (Aseptic Non Touch Technique) is an internationally-recognised clinical practice standard designed to minimise the risk of infection during procedures. It focuses on avoiding unnecessary touch and using sterile precautions when contact is unavoidable.
Achieving Bronze Accreditation demonstrates that our clinical teams consistently apply these principles, embedding reliable infection‑prevention practices into everyday care.
Awarded to One Stop Healthcare, Hemel Hempstead, in 2025, this accreditation is valid for four years, after which re‑accreditation is required to ensure continued compliance with the framework.
JAG Accreditation
In 2026, our hospital achieved JAG Accreditation, recognising our high-quality gastrointestinal endoscopy services. This accreditation is awarded by the Joint Advisory Group on GI Endoscopy (JAG), the UK’s leading body for setting and measuring excellence in endoscopic care.
JAG accreditation is based on a rigorous assessment of clinical practice, governance, training, facilities and patient outcomes. Services must demonstrate that they meet consistently high benchmarks — from the way procedures are carried out, to how patients are supported before, during and after their appointment.
CQC: Good
One Stop Healthcare has been rated Good by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), reflecting a high standard of care and a strong commitment to patient safety and experience. The CQC is the independent regulator of health and social care in England, and its ratings are designed to help patients understand how well services are performing.
A Good rating means the service is performing well and consistently meeting the CQC’s expectations. Assessments focus on five key areas: whether services are safe, effective, caring, responsive and well‑led. One Stop Healthcare achieved a Good rating across all five of these domains, resulting in an overall Good rating for the hospital.
Awarded in 2021 and further reviewed in July 2023, where the CQC confirmed there was no evidence to suggest the rating needed to be reassessed.
CMA Order Compliance
Our hospital has received the CMA Order Compliance Award, presented by the Private Healthcare Information Network (PHIN), recognising our full compliance with the Competition and Markets Authority’s Private Healthcare Market Investigation Order 2014. This award highlights organisations that demonstrate excellence in transparency, data quality and accountability, and commended One Stop Healthcare for setting the standard among smaller providers through high‑quality submissions.
