PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
Dr Emmanuel has been a Consultant in Pain Medicine for over 16 years, practising in the NHS at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust and private practice at Pinehill Hospital and One Hatfield Hospital.
Mr Emmanuel has occupied a number of senior roles within the Pain service, serving as Clinical Director for 5 years, Inpatient Pain lead clinician for 4 years, and has assisted the Hertfordshire health board in developing patient pathways for low back pain with particular emphasis on injections for back pain and sciatica. Currently Mr Emmanuel is the Regional Advisor for Pain medicine for the East of England, helping training the pain consultants of the future.
Mr Emmanuel has a particular interest in chronic neck pain and radiofrequency denervation.
