Dr Kah Fai Wong is a Consultant Endocrinologist specialising in thyroid, calcium and parathyroid disorders, reproductive hormone conditions, PMOS, obesity, adrenal and pituitary disease, and all types of diabetes. He also assesses non‑specific symptoms that may have an underlying hormonal cause. A consultant at Luton & Dunstable University Hospital since 2017, he leads the Luton Diabetes Service and is committed to improving access to modern diabetes technologies. Alongside his clinical work, he is actively involved in medical education and specialist training, combining evidence‑based practice with a personalised, thoughtful approach to patient care.

PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

Dr Kah Fai Wong is a Consultant Endocrinologist with expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of hormone and metabolic disorders. He provides personalised, evidence-based care for patients with thyroid disease, calcium and parathyroid disorders, reproductive and gonadal hormone disorders, polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS), obesity, adrenal and pituitary disorders, all types of diabetes. He also assesses patients with non-specific symptoms that may have an underlying hormonal cause, including fatigue, weight changes, and unexplained biochemical abnormalities.

After graduating from the University of Aberdeen in 2007, Dr Wong completed specialist training in Endocrinology and Diabetes across the West Midlands and East of England, including the Eastern Regional Endocrine Centre at Cambridge University Hospitals. There, he gained extensive experience in managing complex endocrine disorders and diabetes.

Dr Wong has been a substantive consultant at Luton & Dunstable University Hospital since 2017. Alongside his specialist endocrine practice, he leads the Luton Diabetes Service, driving service improvements and expanding access to modern diabetes technologies to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.

Committed to delivering the highest standards of care, Dr Wong combines clinical expertise with an active role in medical education. He holds a Master’s degree in Medical Education, is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (RCPE), an MRCP(UK) PACES examiner, and serves on the East of England Endocrinology & Diabetes Specialty Training Committee.
