Our GP Clinic provides access to a range of treatments and services to support your health, from early diagnosis to preventative care. Your GP will assess your needs and recommend the most appropriate next steps, with many services available quickly and conveniently through the hospital.

How to prepare for your appointment

You do not need a referral for a GP appointment; you can simply call or visit us to book a face-to-face or digital appointment.

Face-to-face: You will need to bring a list of any medications that you are currently taking.

Digital: Ahead of your appointment, you will receive an email providing simple step-by-step instructions on how to prepare for and join your call. It would also help for you to find a space with privacy and a strong internet or phone connection. You will need either a phone, tablet, laptop or computer, depending on the type of appointment booked.

After the appointment, a letter will be sent to you and your NHS GP (with your permission) detailing the outcome of your consultation, along with recommendations for future treatment which we can organise for you. For example, the GP may ask for additional tests.
