PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

Conor is a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with an MSc in Physiotherapy and a BSc in Sports Rehabilitation and Athletic Therapy, with experience across both private healthcare and NHS settings. He treats all musculoskeletal issues and conditions, working with patients of all ages and activity levels, using a patient-centred, evidence-based approach to help people return to the activities that matter most to them — whether that’s sport, work, or everyday life.

Originally from Ireland, with roots local to this area too, he has a strong interest in athletic and lower-limb injuries, with particular expertise in conditions affecting the foot, ankle, knee, hip and lower back. His postgraduate dissertation explored barefoot running, foot biomechanics and grounding, examining how foot function and running mechanics influence performance and injury risk. This has shaped his clinical approach, particularly when working with runners and active individuals.

Conor combines thorough assessment with clear education, progressive exercise rehabilitation, and hands-on techniques where appropriate. He strongly believes in empowering patients with the knowledge and tools they need to manage their condition confidently and independently.

Outside of the clinic, Conor is a keen sports enthusiast, particularly football, and enjoys watching and playing a wide range of sports. He is an avid runner and completed his first half marathon last year, with plans to continue developing his running journey. When time allows, he enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly exploring the Lake District.

Conor is passionate about ongoing professional development and delivering high-quality, compassionate care, working collaboratively with patients to help them move better, feel stronger and return to doing what they love.
