PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
Dr Mani Naghibi is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Honorary Senior Lecturer at the internationally renowned St Mark’s Hospital, The National Bowel Hospital. His sub-speciality is Human Nutrition, which crosses all areas of gastroenterology.
He has been awarded the Shire Prize for innovation in Gastroenterology in 2014, NHS Clinical Excellence Awards in 2017 and 2020-23 and voted by colleagues as TopDoctor’s Gastroenterologist of the year 2024.
For his contribution to training Nutrition Doctors from Sri Lanka he was awarded an Honorary Fellowship of Sri Lanka College of Nutrition Physicians in 2025. He trained at Guy’s Kings and St Thomas’ School of Medicine in London.
His Medical Doctorate was awarded by the University of Southampton on the topic of artificial nutrition for patients with cancer. Languages in addition to English: Farsi
